Similar to the past, can I join a WAFC league and then pay later?
Registration and payment have been joined and are now a single process.  Your registration
is not complete until you have paid the league fee.

How do I purchase a WAFC disc?
Currently, WAFC discs are only available to those joining a WAFC league (Rec, Clique,
Corporate, or Pro) for the season at hand.  After completing league registration, there is an
option to continue shopping.  Go to the merchandise section of the website and add a disc
to your shopping cart.  You’ll notice that your shopping cart will now contain both items and
the total price.  If finished shopping, proceed and you’ll be prompted to submit your credit
card info.  At this point, WAFC does NOT ship discs.  Your captain will distribute discs during
league games.

The EMS (Eastern Mountain Sports) also carries WAFC discs for sale.  It's located at:

Does WAFC still accept checks or PayPal?
The online credit card payment system was developed in response to WAFC member
requests for an easier payment process that accepts credit cards.  To simplify the process
for everyone, WAFC will only accept credit card payment.  Checks, Paypal, and other forms of
payment will NOT be accepted for WAFC league payment.

What if I change my mind and decide I don’t want to play?
You may cancel up to the close of registration.  For example, if registration closes on March
2, you may cancel up to March 2.  Beyond this point, there are no refunds.  Once registration
closes, WAFC immediately begins work on team assignments, setting schedules, etc. so
we consider the league has begun.

If games are rained out, do I get a refund?
Because the WAFC player fees are very low compared to any other organized sports league
in the DC metro area ($25 for the season translates to about $2 per game), players receive
an excellent value even if a few games are cancelled.  With that said, refunds are not given
for cancelled games due to weather.  As much as WAFC would like all games to go on, rain
or shine, it's our duty to protect fields for future use.  


How does it work if I submit a bid for a tournament and my team doesn’t get in?
Upon completion of registration your credit card will be charge.  When bid announcements
are made, any team not accepted will receive an immediate refund of their tournament fee.

Is the WAFCstore online credit card payment system secure?
Yes.  The WAFCstore utilizes the Yahoo Small Business merchant platform.  All submitted
data is encrypted so your credit card info and personal info are safeguarded.

If I'm playing in a WAFC Rec or Pro League and have a baggage request, what is the
procedure for paying?
Payment must be made for all baggage request for the registration to be processed.  
Baggage players may either pay separately and then include the name and email of the
player they want to baggage with.  WAFC will use this info to match players and put them on
the same team.  You may also have one player pay for 2 registrations and then include the
name and email of the person they want to baggage with.

In order to be placed on the same team as your significant other, relative, or housemate, you
must BOTH enter the EXACT same email address ON THE LINE BELOW. That is, BOTH of
you should enter either your email address or your baggage's email address – the common
email address is your ID (otherwise we don’t have a way to place you on the same team).
DO NOT ENTER EACH OTHER'S!! So, decide whose email address you will both use, and
enter it below. Note that this information will be used for matching purposes only. Note, too,
that regardless of what you enter on the line below, the email address at the top of the
registration form should be your own.

Note that typos or using a different email address will cause your baggage request not to
match and therefore will not be accepted. So please be very careful when typing this
information.  

If I have a question or need help whom do I contact?
Submit your help request using the form on this page.  In most cases, someone will
respond within 24 hours.  Keep in mind, WAFC is 100% volunteer run, so if you don’t get an
immediate response it’s likely someone may actually be busy with their day job.  Sit tight and
