2007 WAFC Leagues Player Rating
WAFC uses player ratings to help ensure teams are balanced.  Except for Advanced League, your player rating will never
be seen by anyone other than League Commissioners.  We realize no player rating system is perfect, so just do your best
to be honest and select the category you feel best represents your experience and skills.

Maximum rating = 30 points.

Experience (10-point rating)
1. None
2. Pick-up Ultimate; no other team sport experience
3. Pick-up Ultimate; played other team sports
4. Less than 2 years of league play
5. Current college player or 2-4 years of league play
6. Advanced college player or 4+ years of league play
7. Advanced league player
8. Traveling club player; retired 9 or 10
9. Competed recently at club Regionals
10. Competed recently at club Nationals or Worlds

Disc Skills (10-point rating)
1. Have tossed a disc casually (beach, picnic, etc)
2. Learning to throw and catch for Ultimate
3. Solid backhand or forehand
4. Solid backhand and forehand
5. Consistent throws against a mark
6. Handler against man defense
7. Handler against zone defense
8. Solid handler; consistent throws in wind
9. All types of throws accurate; consistently breaks mark
10. Exceptional accuracy; dictates offense

Speed/Condition (5-point rating)
1. Poor
2. Okay
3. Average
4. Solid
5. Exceptional

Defense (5-point rating)
1. Unfamiliar with any defensive strategy
2. Familiar with man defense, force, and stall count
3. Average cover skills in man defense; familiar with zone defense
4. Solid understanding and execution of man and zone defense
5. Exceptional all-around defender
